According to the James Bond website, MI6, 007 is bound for the ski resort of Sölden to shoot on its nearby glacier Rettenbach. Shooting in this picturesque alpine locale is said to be split in two. The production will arrive around 8th Jan and shoot for a week. They are then scheduled to return again in February 9th through 12th.
The glacier – despite being peak season – will be closed throughout the shoot.
Meanwhile in Obertilliach the community was notified about 007’s impending arrival by town meeting.
Shooting, it was explained, would be weather dependant but cameras should roll in the second week of January 2015. The town meeting marked the first time officials talked openly about the movie being the 24th James Bond film.
